This is a pictures-only draft I never posted last summer. uploading all these photos literally took 5 days at the Jerusalem Center because of their wifi. eek! I guess a picture really is worth a thousand words though...
in short- turkey is incredible and i would totally recommend it to ANYONE with a few extra days in europe. its a great way to get a taste of the middle east in a safe, heavily-toured area. be careful what you eat, make sure you go to topkapi palace, hagia sophia, and the blue mosque.
